If you learn one thing about me, it’s that I’m sentimental.

I’m a wife to the best husband, Slawek. We’ve been together for twelve years and we have two beautiful boys. Becoming a stay-at-home mom has completely changed how I see the world. I’m a total empath, a hopeless romantic and I love love. Motherhood has made me realize just how quickly life moves and it’s the reason I love documenting families the way I do.

I'm also a proud Latina. Spanish was my first language, and I speak it fluently. My parents immigrated from Mexico and Ecuador in pursuit of the American dream, and their faith, sacrifice, and work ethic shaped who I am today. Everything I’ve built is rooted in what they gave me.

My love for photography started with my dad. He was always documenting our family, making sure the little moments were never forgotten. Because of him, I learned photos become part of your family's history. When he gave me my first digital camera in eighth grade, I had no idea it would one day lead me to telling other families' stories, too.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me with my boys, rewatching my favorite comfort shows, singing way too loudly at a concert or keeping up with pop culture.
